Gucci has released a range of new lipsticks and fragrances, plus a special holiday collection.
Gucci Rosso Ancora is probably a familiar shade for anyone who is fan of Gucci. This recurring color in the history of the House is inspired by the walls in one of The Savoy hotel’s elevators in London. This very hotel is where founder Guccio Gucci once worked as a porter in the late 18th century, and where he became inspired to bring his leather goods and luggage brand to life.
Creative Director Sabato De Sarno is now paying homage to this enduring legacy by hand-picking Gucci’s new signature red shade in Rosso Ancora. With the release of Rouge à Lèvres Mat in Gucci Rosso Ancora, the creamy, long-lasting matte finish is perfect for making a bold statement. The lipstick even looks great being pulled from a purse, thanks to its reimagined gold-toned tube with a decorative linear pattern. While the color has been a long-standing shade for Gucci, Rouge à Lèvres Mat in Gucci Rosso Ancora evokes a sense of effortless confidence and sensual elegance. $47 at Sephora

Meanwhile, the brand also recently launched a new collection of Gucci Neutrals—an assortment of six new additions to the Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Mat collection, three new additions to the Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Liquide Mat collection and an additional six shades in the Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Satin collection.

For an ultimate radiance boost, pair one of these lipsticks with Gucci’s new Glow Highlighter ($59 at Sephora). It’s formulated with a powder-gel texture and is available in five shades of pearly colors (Sunrise Gold, Frosted Lilac, Warm Gold, Opal Pink and Warm Bronze). The highlighter blends seamlessly with the skin, providing a smooth application that is soft to the touch with a hydrating feel. Layer after layer, its highly buildable formula allows for various looks, from a subtle shimmer to a bold finish that lasts all day. Even better, it can be used on the eyes, cheeks, nose, lips and body. The highlighter comes encased in a fancy golden case decorated with a distinctive star pattern.
