Spiked Seltzer of a New Sort

January 12, 2021 by Misty Milioto Leave a Comment

A new tequila-based hard seltzer is sure to lift spirits.

Lately, it seems that hard seltzers have been all the rage. While you may be familiar with spiked seltzer brands like Truly and White Claw, a new alcoholic sparkling water called Volley has hit the market. It is unique because it is made with just three clean ingredients: 100 percent blue agave tequila; sparkling water; and organic juice. It is currently available in four tasty flavors that are simply fresh and fabulous: Zesty Lime; Spicy Ginger; Sharp Grapefruit; and Tropical Mango. Each can clocks in at only 100 to 110 calories, so they are also a guiltless way to imbibe.

Founded by husband and wife duo Christopher Wirth and Camila Soriano, the award-winning, gluten-free tequila seltzer is the first of its kind crafted without added sugars, natural flavorings or preservatives. The brand launched last July, and, following immense success and local buzz in the New York and Florida markets, Wirth and Soriano decided it was time to expand into Tennessee, Georgia and New Jersey. Volley plans to roll out in several new markets, so keep your eyes peeled. Additionally, Volley ships nationwide through a new e-commerce platform.

To add to the good, clean fun, Volley has partnered with Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the outdoors. Through this collaboration, Volley will fund outdoor educational events and clean-ups of public spaces around the United States.

$14 for a four-can single flavor or variety pack, or individually for $3.50 per 355ml can, drinkvolley.com
